Effective Jan. 1st, 2022, usage of BNLBox will require a contribution to the cost of operating the CSI-funded service at BNL, as previously announced at the SDCC Liaison meetings. If you have an active BNLBox account, please ask your group leader or Business Operations Manager (BOM) to provide an account/activity number to Grace Giuffre or Jim Desmond by Dec. 15th. Please contact Jim if you are a Physics Dept. member, or Grace if otherwise. Please do NOT contact Grace or Jim individually (there are hundreds of BNLBox users).

The base cost of a BNLBox account varies, depending on whether or not your dept. made an in-kind contribution. Charges for FY22 will be retroactive to Oct. 1st, 2021. The SDCC also offers optional storage services for BNLBox. Please contact Ofer Rind for technical details and/or Grace for information on the cost structure for basic accounts and optional services.

After Jan. 1st, 2022, BNLBox accounts not linked to account/activity numbers will be frozen and disabled (but not deleted) without further notice. Affected accounts can be re-activated upon verification of a valid account/activity number.
