How to change SDCC facility passwords

SDCC facility users can change their Kerberos and/or email passwords using the following procedures:

Domain-Based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC) Policy

BNL Cyber Security has implemented an email authentication policy called DMARC, a domain-based message authentication, reporting, and conformance policy that relies on the

 Authentication failure issues

• There is a 120 seconds limit to enter the OTP token, if the time limit is exceeded gives the message of authentication failed and to try again.
• When the wrong credentials are given(either kerberos password or OTP token) couple of times, the SDCC account will get locked out and in this case NX will give "Authentication Failed, please try again" message.

Changes to facility password policies and tools.

To reinforce the SDCC facility Cyber Security posture and reduce the risk of future compromises, the SDCC/RACF password policy has been designed to comply with current best practices as specified in NIST's Digital Identity Guidelines for Authentication (NIST800-63B).

Users may employ the web interface for changing passwords. Your current SDCC/RACF username and password are required for access.
