CERN has scheduled an event entitled "Latest update in the search for the Higgs boson", at 9:00 AM UTC (3 AM EDT) on Wednesday, July 4.
The event agenda can be found on CERN's Indico site, and the event video will be streamed live via webcast.
The ISGTW article features a video interview with BNL's Paul Sorensen on RHIC operations, such as particle collisions, collision detection, and event computing and analysis, with a look inside the RHIC control room as well as a peek at the RCF computing infrastructure.

Geneva, 5 April 2012. At 00:38 CEST this morning, the LHC shift crew declared ‘stable beams’ as two 4 TeV proton beams were brought into collision at the LHC’s four interaction points. This signals the start of physics data taking by the LHC experiments for 2012. The collision energy of 8 TeV is a new world record, and increases the machine’s discovery potential considerably.
