Insure++

The SDCC has a site license for Insure++ from Parasoft. This package is used to find runtime errors in C++ code - detect memory problems, runtime errors, and security vulnerabilities such as memory corruption, memory leaks, buffer overflow/underflow, and stack overruns.

The application can be found at the SDCC at:

Storage

Home directories are meant to store small files only. All home directories are restricted by user quotas and the quotas varies as per experiment.

Experiment-managed Jupyter Areas

Managing Jupyter for Experiments

There are methods to customize both jupyter kernels listed in a running session (based on the $JUPYTER_PATH environment variable) and the actual jupyterlab sessions themselves both based on the user's group. Launching in a custom jupyterlab environment allows the different experiments that SDCC supports to maintain their own jupyterlab extensions and plugins. Launching a custom kernel allows the running of experiment-provided setup scripts to prepare the environment in the notebook with your software.

NoMachine Frequently Asked Questions

 Authentication failure issues

  • There is a 120 seconds limit to enter the OTP token, if the time limit is exceeded gives the message of authentication failed and to try again.
  • When the wrong credentials are given(either kerberos password or OTP token) couple of times, the SDCC account will get locked out and in this case NX will give "Authentication Failed, please try again" message.
