         Dear Jens,
                how about
      \title{Role of parton collisions in particle production
                for AuAu collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=200 GeV}
    This has the advantage that it fits on one line in PRL format.
    Also should not the abstract mention limiting fragmentation since
    this is one of our contributions.
      It is just about possible to fit table 1 into one column. However
    we may want to consider making it two column and adding more
    pseudo-rapidity columns.
      Are we actually using the silicon in the analysis? If not we
    should drop the discussion about averageing the Si and tiles.
    It would be easier to compare alpha and beta values at eta=0 and
    3 and 130 and 200GeV in a small table.
                  Yours Michael
