Hello, This message is to announce that the BRAHMS NIM Paper is hereby released for collaboration wide review. You can find it at several places: http://Cyclotron.tamu.edu/hagel/BrahmsNIMPaper.doc (for MS word people) http://Cyclotron.tamu.edu/hagel/BrahmsNIMPaper.ps (for non MS word people) http://www.sdcc.bnl.gov/brahms/private/detectors/NIM/BrahmsNIMPaper-26Sep2001-1.doc http://www.sdcc.bnl.gov/brahms/private/detectors/NIM/BrahmsNIMPaper-26Sep2001-1.ps Please download this, read it, and look for errors and inconsistencies. We will entertain comments and suggestions until Wednesday afternoon 17:00 Texas time (3-Oct-2001) (1 week from today) at which time comments and suggestions will be implemented as needed and it will be transmitted to Tom Ludlam ASAP thereafter. If you have comments which require a figure change, it will be your responsibility to extract the figure from the person who generates it and transmit it to me. There are several figures in the paper which are less than optimal, but I have not managed to extract better figures from people despite numerous efforts. I will make one more attempt on the figures I find not optimal and if I do not succeed, we will fly with what is in the paper and the responsible parties will have it on their conscience for the rest of their lives. Enjoy and happy reading. Regards Kris
