Here is the list of _*additional*_ softwares we would like to be installed in rcf machines. Intel C++ compiler latex xv xfig If you have any other things, you should send me a list within a week(or so). Make sure your list does not include the software already installed. I hightly suggest anyone to try at rplay10 (RH8) or rplay15 and rplay21 (RH9). It is still unclear if we get Redhat 8 or 9 (depending on Star and/or Phenix), but the upgrade will start at the end of August. Since this upgrade change a size of pertition, *it will erase all data from any local hard drives* (/home/ directory) Make sure you have a backup. Hiro
