Due to the previously announced storage shutdown work beginning at 8 am on 07/22 (Tuesday), the Linux Farm will suspend all LSF jobs at 7:30 am on Tuesday. All LSF jobs will be unsuspended when the storage system comes back on-line, and the LSF jobs should pick up from where they left off, barring unforeseen circumstances. The only exception will be BRAHMS jobs that depend on rmine001 and rmine002. Specific OS changes to these systems will create un-recoverable NFS stale file handles due to any user activity that touches disks mounted on either rmine001 or rmine002. These jobs must be killed (and Linux nodes possibly rebooted) to clear these NFS stale file handles. Tony -- This message forwarded from the RCF announcements page.
