As you can see thare will be a full access day today Tuesday. We did, I believe most of the work neede during an 2h access last Friday, but there may be some loose end to figure out - mrst0 counter .. - issues of tpm2 readout. flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 ----- Original Message ----- From: Kin Yip To: kinyip@fnal.gov Sent: Monday, April 18, 2005 11:01 AM Subject: Acting Scheduling Physicist News: Maintenance Tuesday Hi, We'll have a full day Maintenance Day tomorrow (Tuesday, Apr. 19, 2005). Everybody (polarimeter group, vacuum group, Maintenance coordinator etc.) seems to be ready to install the new silicon detector for the CNI polarimeter in RHIC. The reasoning to do this right away is to replace the present damaged silicon detector so that we can have more reliable polarization measurements, at least to the minds of some experimenters. It is said that the cold snake in AGS should be cold enough and ready for installation etc tomorrow, too.
