    Shift Summary:
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Machine Status:
No beam until 2205, since then the beam has been just fine.

    Achievements:
    Woke Flemming.
    Woke Ramiro.
    Disturbed the magnet watch.
    Started data taking at 2350.

    Detector Problems:
When the beam finally was ready, I turned on the TPCs, and then
started BADTRIP. BADTRIP immediately began to make its annoying
beeping noise, because all of the Drift voltages (that is on all TPCs)
were 0 V, rather than the requested (and somewhat more useful) -4980V.
After trying to solve this, I called Flemming and woke him up, and he
told me to call Ramiro, who I think I also woke up. The short story:
to get the drift voltage on, I had to cycle the power on the L1458a.
This only took about an hour. Then I noticed that D2 had no current.
There was a problem with D2, and it was solved by the magnet guys.
As I write this, things seem to be running smoothly so I will retreat
and let Kris deal with this wonderfully running experiment.
