Hello friends Are there any plans to have BRAHMS scientists at the Detector workshop? I think that Dieter could present the PHOS idea + the Si plans. This would require fast coordinated action from Dieter vis-a-vis the PHOS group and from FV vis-a-vis the workshop people. I also mention that it is now clear that CERN has a significant budget overrun. The consequences for LHC startup is at present totally unclear. But we may surmise that the LHC will not be ready earlier than expected, so RHIC as a testing ground for ALICE detectors becomes even more attractive. If there iwere nteresting physics to be done it would be an extra bonus. regards JJ ________________________________ Jens Jørgen Gaardhøje Assoc. prof. Dr. Scient.
