Let me follow up on this e-mail

We have been talking about the upgrades, but this are still pretty in
their conceptual phase, and we really should move forward with this, and
into a stage where
we first internally can discuss this (physics, perfomance, effort to put
into place - gathering more people to
works on this) so it can be presented. This workshop might be a good place
to present some of these ideas
to other(s). In any case it has to move if this is to be implemented in
future RHIC runs (2002/03).
