Hiro,
   I would think so.  I would rather determine the reaction plane resolution from the DSTs then from my own trees to ensure consistancy.  This also means that you would need to make sure vertices from -45cm on up are in the DST.   
   I also had a very quick look at BdstGlobalModule and I didn't see all of the silicon rings (1a-1g) in the module.  Are they there?
