  Dear JH,
this seems like a good idea. why aren't the different a regions symetric about the peak? It seemed to me that you were only using 7 regions but that your index ran over 8.
Michael

Subject:	[Brahms-dev-l] Acceptance Weighting for dAu and pp at ForwardRapidities

Hi,

As we all know, picking up a right acceptance map
for a given z at small angle is tricky due to a limited
accuracy on determining the origin of the track.
it's especially an issue for dAu and pp data since
BB vertices are available only for a fraction of event.

Here is what I believe one of the ways to accommodate
the uncertainties in applying z dependent acceptance weight.
This method doesn't require generating new maps and
has been "successfully" adapted in the Ramiro's analysis.

Cheers, JH
