Hi brahmers I expect the first reduction step to be completed some time tonight (european time) for all runs (with more than 2 sequences) in the range: 5361 - 5983 As one can see from the large number of mails on this list great effort has been put into finishing calibrations, software and fine tunings for the next reduction step. The main points are: 1) The ZDC calibration issue have been solved and the zdc vertex can be constructed (with slewing) for all runs above 5677. Calibrations for lower runs are being produced at the moment. Do the changes in the software require a new checkout of afs brat? 2) Update of the db geometry? I didn't follow the discussion in detail, do we want to update the db geometry? If yes, this should be done before the next reduction step. 3) New slewing calibration for the time-of-flight walls. Djamel will update these for (H1 and H2) to the db before tomorrow and I guess they are already in for the MRS? I think it's crucial that we start the next reduction step tomorrow, so that we'll have data to analyse before the weekend (We can do the first reduction step for the earlier runs in parallel). I'll commit the used reduction scripts to cvs tomorrow. Cheers, Claus +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Claus Jørgensen | | Cand. Scient.
