    Well, I think the your change plus the thing in BrMainModule was
    interconnected, so that when you changed the behaviour of BrIOModule,
    you effectively changed the behaviour of BrMainModule - that is why
    you need to think about these things not in isolation but in the big
    picture.  
    
    Anyway, the way BrIOModule works now (and before) is far from
    optimal.  I imagine we could have something like filesets,
    corresponding to many files for a single run-level, and a set of these
    file sets, corresponding to a full job (many run-levels).
