    Could you please outline a bit more what you mean by the statement "I faced
    some problems"
    We can certainly agree that changes to a setup can be needed but I do not
    really see that
    the problem of writting out to the .geo problem is fundamentally related to
    the intrinsic of
    geant detector  descriptions. So before I concur in this change I would
    really like to understand the
    real problem as well as being able to see changes in the code.
    I understand you have not written stuff into CVS, but could you leave a copy
    on the RCF machines?
