Hi Flemming,
You can find the modified gbrahms files on rcf.rhic.bnl.gov in that
directory:
/brahms/u/ouerdane/mygbr
Have a glance at them, I've put some comments each time I've changed
something (I hope
I didn't forget anything).
To be more precise with the problem that occured before, since there was
a single name
for 4 volumes (TFP1), I realized that data related to these panels were
not well stored
in the cdat file. I don't know exactly why (maybe it's because gbr2c.f
knew only one panel,
when you define names in the init part, you only consider 29 detectors,
but there are actually 32
if you think in terms of physical detectors and not in term of volume
types).
So the problem is more complicated than just the geo file output. I
guess you know a way
to store data properly in the cdat file although you have a unique name
for these panels cause geant knows
how to make the difference between these volumes but as far as I'm
concerned, I'm not a geant
specialist, that's why I made such changes: in this way, there's no
ambiguity when you fill
the vector ihits_s with tofw hit parameters.
I also didn't understand the part concerning the slat number in gbr2c.f
(still for Tofw panels).
I got some strange numbers at the end like 133 while you just have 21
slats in 1 panel
(you put some comments about a number '40' that is 'hardwired'...I don't
get it).
I have commented out this part.
Tell me if you need more details.
Djamel
