the change in DAQ procedure; we start in the counting house conference room since we aren't allowed to turn stuff on in the tunnel until the ORR. We are actually bending the rules a bit by turning on stuff in the counting house.

Preliminary surveying of octagon and arm structures.
Preliminary shield wall rigging finished, double doors left clear.
Equipment unloaded into tunnel starting at 3pm.
Location of electronics room floor penetrations finalized.

Testing of slow controls system in counting house starts.
Counting house trigger electronics installation and cabling begins.

Steel beampipe reinstalled, aligned by surveyors, and pumped down.
Electronics room floor cable penetrations finished.
Procedures for laying cable established, begin collecting ladders, cable spool holders, etc.
Mercury and other MIT stuff (full electronics chain) initially installed in counting house.

Final shield wall rigging done, double doors now blocked.
Cable pulling begins, priorities are the following:
Test of Si->FEC->DMU->MDC->Mercury->DAQ in counting house, including FFI through cable and fiber coiled in counting house.
Online computer tested with DAQ.
Installation of AC circuits from counting house to tunnel racks begins.
Paddle counter mount parts delivered from Maryland.

RHIC Ring Access class at 10 am.
Testing of counting house trigger electronics, including communication with DAQ.
Si, FEC, DMU/MDC, bias supplies move to tunnel.
Octagon modules mounted on real frame, final version of flex cables installed
Run fibers and cables for trigger and DAQ communication between tunnel and counting house.
DMU/MDC in rack with cables to FEC
FEC crate, power supplies, etc mounted on rail system
Trigger electronics complete inside tunnel.
Installation of slow controls system in tunnel.
Mount and align ring counter stands.
Paddle counter mount assembled and installed in tunnel.
