Magnet delivered to AGS to be assembled, wired with sensors, and tested briefly.
Si module support structures (octagon, 1 spectrometer arm, and 1 ring counter) arrive at UIC and MIT. Detector rail system assembly starts at MIT. Counting house and its utilities complete (including ORR). Water-cooled bus installation. Detector rail assembly at MIT completed. Magnet installed and hooked up at RHIC. Magnet cooling water system and power supply complete. Setup for magnet mapping begins (including ORR). Production magnet mapping begins. Concrete block fabrication. Production magnet mapping ends. Concrete block installation. First parts of detector enclosure fitted on magnet. Fabrication of tooling for mounting modules on cooling frames. Design of tooling for mounting cooling frames on plate and transporting assembled plate. Cable tray in ports and outside berm complete. All subsystems safety reviewed.

Metal plate and concrete block installation and levelling completed Full rail, support structure, cooling system installation begins (first without Si).
