As probably first noted by Djamel the pii3 RUNDB was inaccessible, and in fact pii3 has halted. 
The machine was rebooted in two try's, and was back working about 18:10 June 26.
It is conceiveable the DB was brought down by the high demand on mysql as also observed on
rcas, but an investigation tomorrow will look into details.
