The installation of this years increment to the RCF analysis farm has dragged out., but has been
ready use within the last week. The addition is 12 new dual procesors each with ~60Gb of local disk-
this should expand the capabilities for post-reconstruction analysis significantly.

In order to minimize the management and conflict of usage the new rcf rcas machines as well as
the older except for 0001-0004 will be divided for use by specific Brahms collaborations institutions.
The current allocation is made with an eye for the present usage, as well as active analysis, and has been circulated
within members of the the analysis group.

You may recall that initially since the rcas machines are available with much local disk (the 6-10) with 36G and the
(11-22) with ~60G it would make sense to delegate the responsibility for the nodes to different groups so they can
manage and fight for such space.

    The following

     rcas 0001-0004
rcas 0005 Database server (may well move to anotehr one in future)
    rcas 0006-0007 BNL,UK
    rcas 0008 TAMU/Oslo
    rcas 0009-0010 NBI
    rcas 0011- 0014 NBI (4)
    rcas 0015- 0017 BNL (3)
    rcas 0018 Oslo (1)
    rcas 0019 U.Kansas (1)
    rcas 0020 TAMU (1)
rcas 0021-0022 Active spares i.e. use for analysis for all, but with possible re-allocation
if failures appear on other machines, or specific needs arise.

This may be slightly different for the earlier allocation for the 1-10 machines but made to make at least one
    set contiguous.

In addition one can utilize the lsf queues for distribution 'batch' like jobs that do not use local disc resources
to find machines with the least load and utilization.
