Since it is of interest to use Hijing for the rate estimates for the RBUP as well as for comparison with present data I spent some time today getting it to run with the Brahms environment. A new central data file with 5,000 central b<2 events is placed in /brahms/data01/simu/event_data/hijing/auau_130_b02.zdat. A sqrt(s) 200 GeV data file is also being generated and should be availble by tomorrow The code itself is though not yet in CVS . By a severe mishap I managed to wipe out the hijing source code directory just before committing to CVS. The code is almost back to being usable but not ready for general coinsumption. Look forward to the next message on this. regards Flemming ------------------------------------------------------ Dr. Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory Spokesperson Brahms experiment tlf: 631-344-4106 e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov
