The BRAHMS collaboration will hold a software meeting on the week of December 6-10, 1999. This meeting will have a number of presentations and should have a lot of discussion to provide the environment to lead to decisions regarding software issues in BRAHMS.
The meetings are arranged by subject. Monday will focus mostly on databases and related issues, Tuesday will focus on a review of various data formats, Wednesday will focus on physics issues and Thursday will focus simulations and code organization. An attempt was made to put the most important, weighty material at the beginning of the week so that it could be revisited later in the week in some of the afternoons if necessary. Aside from that, the afternoons are left unscheduled for the purpose of doing some concrete work on the software. Friday is mostly left unscheduled since people will be starting to leave, but there is a block of time from about 10:30 - 12:30 where some unresolved issues could be discussed if necessary by people who have not left by that time.
