Hi: I just resubmitted and noticed a couple of things. This time when I submitted the abstract I almost immediately received an automatic response saying they had received the mail and would get back to me if a further communication was necessary. The first time I submitted I did not get any feedback. I also decided to fill out the registration form. If you do the on- line form, you immediately show up on their list of participants. I was reluctant to do this since I will probably not go if I don't get to give a talk. However, it turns out that they do not request credit card information but rather want you to send a check. I'll send the check once I find out about participation.... ...steve On Aug 5, 2006, at 7:12 PM, flemming videbaek wrote: > Dear All, > Thanks to a message from Bill Zajc it it now clear that > a) the shanghai insitutte was on vacation around August 1 (Great) > b) the do not know about message from BNL (?!) even though they > repeated the phrase that I used in the message. > Anyhow they have extended their deadline to August 10 for abstract > s, so if you have not received a confiirmation, considered sending > again.
