Subject: Ticks and ISSM Point of Contact

All,

Ticks have been found on the grass outside the building. These were not the Deer Ticks that carry Lyme Disease but nonetheless, I recommend we all use the sidewalks instead of walking across the grass. It is doubtful there would be any ticks in the inner courtyards since the deer have no access to those areas.

For your information, I am the Point of Contact for ISSM as mentioned in the Monday Memo. At this point there hasn't been much I've had to do other than some training, but there may be more in the future. I expect we will only need to be certain that security issues, if any, are reviewed in our Experimental Safety Reviews.
