Hi The 62.4 GeV CuCu running is coming to an end. It has been decided to end the run tomorow (Tuesday) at 2 .pm. This should give us another ~ 2.5 shifts. For the run at injection energy, we will setup the triggers (fv,sjs), and take data until Wednesday morning at 8 am i.e. ~ 5 shifts following the switch-over. Based on the prelim. data from a 1.5 hours run would should be able to get acceptable spectra for pions, kaons at 90,45 deg and 8,4 (pi-). The latter two will help clarifiing the issue of limiting fragmentation for identified pions. The main problem will be getting a good min bias determination. I will post my slides from todays BRAHMS meeting on my rcf page later this evening.
