Hello, Among other things, I'm making some plots for the white paper. I thought it would be nice to have the rapidity systematic of our pi, K, and p data in one figure. I produced such a plot, which shows dN/dy, mean Mt and mean Et. I also made a quick estimation of the Bjorken energy density at mid-rap, given the mean Mt of each particle type (I've applied a factor of 1.5 for pions (pi0), 2 for kaons (K0s) and 2 for p and pbars, rough neutron estimation). I end up with epsilon = 4.95 GeV/fm3, not bad :) You can find plots here: http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane/ysyst/rapSystematic.gif http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane/ysyst/rapSystematic.eps http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane/ysyst/rapSystematic.ps The mean mt data can be found here: http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane/ysyst/mmt.dat Ciao Djam -- Djamel Ouerdane ------------------------------------------o | Niels Bohr Institute | Home: | | Blegdamsvej 17, DK-2100 Ø | Jagtvej 141 2D, | | Fax: +45 35 32 50 16 | DK-2200 Copenhagen N | | Tel: +45 35 32 52 69 | +45 35 86 19 74 | | http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane | | ouerdane@nbi.dk | o---------------------------------------------------------o _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Tue May 18 13:37:59 2004
