As you can see from the forwarded messages from the scheduling physicist the pp running is making progress slowly. The physics run have been move until approximately ~Friay rather than today. In addtiion there has been
wor said, particular Thomas Roser that 2 exp. are better (easier) than 4. I should state that policy decision are to be based on the Wednesday coordination meetings by machine and exp, and final decision by Kirk based on such information.

A draft shift list has been updated on the operators shifts page. Please be aware this coul change fairly quickly

As an experiment we are getting pretty close to be ready; the spectrometer was re-timed today, the tripping HV for INL counters solve (we hope). A problem not solved today is that of the gigabit link to hpss which right now means we can collect data for ~12 hours before we run out of disk space. Investigations will continue tomorrow.
The plan for the pp run is to a) collect 8 deg data for a good zero field run and checkout before moving to 4 deg
and repeat b) 4 deg 1/4,1/2 and 1/1 B pol to supplement the run3 data and then doing c) 3 deg 1/1 A,B and ) 2.3
deg B for an An measurement.

Just to make perfectly clear there is no t0 start counters, since it was judged an unreasonable amount of work for a possible very little benefit with the focus on hight p running where tof is irrelevant.

A set of slides were placed on the usual place

from some information from last week; It ialso includes comments on local Tpc tracking.

regards
