As announched before, some of the time (shifts) during this years pp run will be made available to experiments. The schedule is still subject to change, based on progress. The plan as of today Monday is to have owl shifts available for exp starting Friday morning (4/16) and going on likewise until 4/21 where 24 hours will be made available for exp and polarize target commisioning on 4/21-4/29. This will clearly be the period where we can make significant physics measurements. I will plan on making a shift schedule on 4/21-4/29 3 a day, an earlier for a 1 shift/day start up. Since beams are not yet developed this may well shift in time. Some tuning of the electronics will have to be made before datataking, but it should be pretty minor for the completion of pp-reference spectra at 3 and 4 deg.I refer you to some of my status slides already poste for possible physics this very much truncate run. regards Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Mon Apr 12 18:52:32 2004
