Hello all. We agree with the priorities: the net baryon dist at 63 GeV being on top of the list. Hence measurements at both fields values at at least 2 angles per spectrometer seems reasonable. Ideally the list would be something like: FS: 2.3 deg 4 deg 8 or 12 MRS: 45 90 in order of priority. cheers JJ ____________________________________________________________ Jens Jørgen Gaardhøje, Assoc. So far it looks reasonable. I think based on prel performance this evening that we can expect ~ 200-300 ZDC/sec. I am updating some slides + spectral estimates that will be posted/shown tomorrow. With a likely ~7 day run we should be able to get low-pt spectra for central collisons (pi,K,p) at about 2(3) ang settings for each of the spectrometers. the schedule is still fluid, It is quite possible that sometime tomorrow Thursday that physics running could start. Please be advise that the shift schedule is subject to changes, an I hope to fill it as we go along.so for those of you present at BNL please watch out. regards Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-l _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Thu Mar 25 10:15:03 2004
