As you have seen the switch-over to 63 GeV running has started. So far it looks reasonable. I think based on prel performance this evening that we can expect ~ 200-300 ZDC/sec. I am updating some slides + spectral estimates that will be posted/shown tomorrow. With a likely ~7 day run we should be able to get low-pt spectra for central collisons (pi,K,p) at about 2(3) ang settings for each of the spectrometers. the schedule is still fluid, It is quite possible that sometime tomorrow Thursday that physics running could start. Please be advise that the shift schedule is subject to changes, an I hope to fill it as we go along.so for those of you present at BNL please watch out. regards Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Wed Mar 24 20:08:27 2004
