Dear Collaborator, The 200 GeV Au-Au run-4 is coming to an end; The last couple of days has not been particular impressive in terms of RHIC performance, but overall we have collecte considerable more data that one could have hoped for at the start of the run.I will like to thank all that have helped out to make this a big success. Starting tomorrow morning the switchover to a short low-energy run (31+31) will begin. The physics running may start as soon as Thursday and last for about a week.Hopefully this will be useful for our understanding of HI reactions though the statistics we will be able to collect will be very limited due to the ~5-20* lower luminosity, and short running period. best regards Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Tue Mar 23 21:31:52 2004
