fYI In addition i will like to mentioned if not seen in the e-logs that we have had another crash with pii3 late this afternoon that caused havoc with data taking. The cause for this failure is unknown, but we will like at a convinient time, most likely during the Wenesday 8 hour access to swith pii3 to another physical unit. This assumes it stay up until then. It was proven that data collection can continue using opus only, while controlling HV and monitoring the data proved to be an issue. One way around this is to ensure we have a working version of root+brat=brahvo on opus.I hope this can be looked into. regards Flemming PS. Some scheuling comments: a) In case of pii3/daq issues please contact hiro b) During this weekend I will coordinate run-plans, while JH will take care of this from Monday through Thursay, where I will be away from the lab. c) Dana is also back from Tuesday and on. e) recall that Monday is presidents day (a lab holiday) f) The run plan for the long weekend call for running at 4 deg, mainly lots of high field running to get significant statistics for physics (suppresion) at large rapidity. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kin Yip" <kinyip@bnl.gov> To: <undisclosed-recipients:> Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 7:25 PM Subject: SPY news update: schedule ... tight schedule ...
