Dear Flemming, I apologize to disturb you in these days!!! First of all, I would like to say some things related to BRAHMS beam use proposal. I and my colleagues consider that it is very important to have good statistics in the present two collisions for many angles (rapidities). Taking into account that the flow and jets seem to be an important decision factor in obtaining some accurate conclusins I believe that with a good statistics and with many angles covered by the spectrometers we can built different tensors using global analysis (flow, thrust, sphericity etc). We believe that it is possible to identify a few particles of each type per event at each angle and we can do this. Also, a symmetric collisions with smaller mass number (may be a collision using nuclei with Z=N) could help us, too. I think that such a collisions could reflect better some assumptions used previously (for example, JHLee used in the work published in Nuclear Physics A (2003) suggests to put N(p)=N(n) when the lambda production is discussed. A collison with equal numbers of neutrons and protons could offer a support for such assumption. Also, I believe that problems related to the flow and other aspects as particle source size could be discussed deeply in this context. I would like to return at apologizes. Because I have some difficulties in the ontaining of the financial support for the next year, I would like to ask you to send me a short letter. In this letter I would like that you say some things about the previous activities in BRAHMS, as well as on your desire that our activity in BRAHMS to continue. Thank you for help!!!!! Sincerely yours, Alexandru
