pii machine upgrade

    Hello.  All pii machines will be upgraded to RedHat9 sometime during 
this summer (one by one).  Since the root partition must be changed, all 
(most of) disks in piis must be reformated.  Of course, home directory 
is "NOT" going to be reformated.  If you keep some personal files in 
local pii disk, please move it to safer places (eg. rcas).  Order of 
upgrade is probably going to be (2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 5, 6, 11, 12, 4, and 
other with funny names ).
