I just received from T.Kirk the enclosed e-mail regarding luminosity expectations for run-4. This is T.Roser's
best estimate for RHIC performance next year. This should thus as such be basis for our beam use propoal.
I will (at some point in time) also post the document on our web pages.

| Attached, please find Thomas Roser's RHIC collider performance
| projections for the Fiscal Year 2004 RHIC run (Run 4).  As
| before, these projections are the best that can be made with
| the information at hand and do not comprise a guarantee of
| performance.  They are also structured so that they can be
| applied to more than one operating scenario, a result that will
| only be decided after the September PAC Meeting and recommen-
| dations.  these, in turn, will respond to the Beam Use
| Proposals that are due on Auguest 29, 2003.

| the contendts of the appended document as required.
