    Dear Collaborator,

The Rhic pp run has been extended for another week until 5/23; I enclose the message from Phil Pile below, and will
furnish you with additional details when they become available.

In addition we will have the task to find and reorganize the shift schedule for the un-anticipated extra week of runninng
    likely
until Wed 21 in the morning. The good news should allow us, if RHIC start running like the weekend, that we can do both
the 12 high pt (~ 3 GeV/c) and the 4 deg higher pt and transverse polarization.

    regards
        Flemming

    | I am pleased to announce the polarized proton run time has been extended by
    | one week. This will then give us ~ 3 weeks of Physics running for polarized
    | protons. We now plan to end the run on Friday, May 23 at 0800 hrs. The end
    | game plan will be revised accordingly with the pp2pp experiment postponed by
    | one week and possibly other changes -- details will be worked out over the
    | next few days.
    |
    | BLIP will run an additional week. The proton radiography experiment (E963)
    | schedule will be decided later in the day.
    |
    | best regards,
    | Phil
