    Dear all,

I have started the 'global tracking' step for runs 8050-8250 (so, if
you notice that the rcas machines are being abused a bit, that might be
why!) This should finish in the next 12-24 hours, depending on how
busy Djamel and Claus keep these machines with Au+Au reduction. I have
done TPC calibrations once at the start of each FS setting. I have
looked at the matching parameters for these runs, and since they are
constant (roughly) I assume that this is often enough for the
calibrations (though a more close analysis may prove otherwise).

The next step is to perform the needed PID calibrations. For this, I
would like very much to have some help from
those of you who 1) are not on shift 2) have reasonable knowledge of
BRAT and 3) are willing to work to get the data ready for analysis.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Ian
