I will like to keep you informed about some on-going work on preparation for RUN-3, in particular in view of the decisions
made this week by the PAC. I made a presentation today at our local meeting at BNL and will like to share this with 
all of you. There are quite a few open issues/concerns about the dA and pp run during the RHIC run-3 and will like to solicit
comments, input and commitments to work these out. There may also be items not adressed and will like to hear 
about such. The presentation (5 slides) can be found on

as well as some of the pertinent info from CA-D on expected performance of RHIC.
