    Hi Peter,

    Some suggested rewording:

"We have studied charged-particle ratios for pions, kaons, and protons at
    selected rapidities with 0<=y<=3.  At mid-rapidity (y = 0) all of the
particle/antiparticle ratios are close to unity. However, both the K-/K+
and pbar/p ratios show significant decreases going to forward rapidity.
Thermal models[2] that were successful in reproducing the observed charged-
particle ratios for lower energy sqrt(s_nn)=130 GeV data at
    mid-rapidity[1] are
now found to also reproduce the mid-rapidity results for the newer
    sqrt(s_nn)=200 GeV data. "

    >>not an event generator. It is based on HIJING, which can be classified

"In this talk we will present the rapidity dependence of the particle
ratios. Current theoretical models will be compared to the
experimental results. In particular, results from a multi-phase transport
model (AMPT)[3] that successfully reproduces the observed charged
particle multiplicities will be discussed in the context of the current
    particle ratio data."

I would also suggest adding a footnote after your name to indicate your home
institution. The references should also be cited in the text.

    Regards,
    Steve
