    Dear Brahms collaborators.

The multiplicity paper committee has produced the attached draft for a
multiplicity paper. The discussions in the pap. comm. are certainly not
    finished, nor is the draft.

Nevertheless here is a text that you may read and comment, in order to speed
up the process of completing this important
BRAHMS paper leading hopefully to speedy submission.

The figures need to be finalized. You may find preliminary figures from Hiro
on the ~/kansas/dndeta01 account on the pii machines. ("figs1-4.eps").
Numbers in the draft will need to be updated and checked. Systematic errors
    need serious thought.

The present version has been put together by Steve, and myself with
significant input from Trine - and of course by Hiro.

I will be absent with very reduced email access next week.
I suggest that Trine and Steve (when he's back from the hardships in Hawaii)
continue work on the manuscript and numbers.

    good reading
    JJ
