    Hello,
I have worked with Flemming in the last three days to "finalize" the NIM paper.
We feel that it is basically where it needs to be. I have posted it on the
BRAHMS web page in the usual place.

We will accept and consider for inclusion comments on the NIM paper until 12:00
noon Texas time (even though I am at BNL) tommorrow, Friday, 18-Oct-2001. At
that point, I will include whatever comments I receive that:
    1. I Understand
    2. I Agree with
    3. Are feasible

Here are guidelines to increase chances of your suggestion being considered.
    1. If you have suggestions for text, supply me with a paragraph.
    2. If you want numbers in a table changed, give me the numbers.
    3. If you want a figure, I NEED THE FIGURE AS AN ATTACHMENT in an e-mail that I
    can drop into MS Word.
If these conditions are satisfied, we will consider the validity of the
    request/suggestion and act accordingly.

Having said all this, I want to thank everyone for the careful reading of the
manuscript after it was released collaboration wide. It provided many useful
comments (as well as some unfeasible ones) which made the paper better and I
think the collaboration will find it useful in the years to come as we publish
    physics papers.

    Regards

    Kris
