Two comments -- for shifters - the instructions for operating magnets (as in the magnet proecedure you have all read and signed) when leaving IR magnets should be turned first to standby then to off, and the key put back in the lockbox. -- To check for actual change in mag field one can either a) daq web page magnet status -- Database log of 'setpoints' b) Keithely readout of Hall probes that can make a dump i.e. listing of time + values recorded.
