    This error indicates a serious problem with T3: the Fastbus TDCs can
    generate a maximum of 16*96 = 1536 data words, times 15 (?) slots, this
    becomes 23040 words, while the DAQ limit is set at 8000 words.
    
    I am not sure at the moment if the 8000-word limit can be increased-
    there may be hardware limitations.
    
    Anyway, normally, the T3 TDCs should not generate that much data, and I
    beleive the 8000-word limit is reasonable (right, Flemming?).
    
    So why do the TDCs generate so much data? Maybe they oscillate
    (thresholds are too low?)? This would also explain why they "do not seem
    to be working"...
