Dear Ramiro, While I can understand your frustration at the lack of beam, I think that one should keep in mind that the FFS is, in fact, useful even with a T5 which is less than fully efficient (this is, by the way, the reason for this scan...not that the detector is 'dead half the time'). While scanning T5 voltages, we at the same time collect data which contains two measurements of track momentum, two TOF measurements 1 C1 measurement and a RICH measure, since we can project the tracks through D4, even without T5! So, cheer up! It really is not as black as it seems. This is of course easy for me to say since it is 11 am here, and not almost 5 am as it is for you.
