    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Date: Mon Sep 24 06:45:52 2001, Shift: 08:00-16:00
    Supervisor: James Norris, with:
    Log book#9 pages 33 - 33

    Shift Summary:
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    1. ~01:30 MCR called and wanted to dump beam
due to low rates. They asked if I had an objection,
and I said I was happy with aZDC rate of ~65, but
they elected to dump beam. They promised we would
have another beam before the 05:30 access
time. They, well, uh, lied. Beam was not
    re-established due to a "F6 Septum fault".
    2. Data run #4895 from 00:05-02:50
Pedestal run #4896 - pulser scaledown incorrect
       Pedestal run #4897
       TPC Pedestal run #4898
       LED test run #4899
    3. Mainframes still misbehaving making BRAHVO
    reading/control of T3 & T5 unreliable. Shift leader
unreliable - forgot twice to write down run end times,
doesn't know where to find trigger counts, didn't
run brntuple until after running pedestal runs and
suspects this is why brntuple gave "no event -0"
error, and managed to hang pii4. Maybe we should
take him out back and beat the stuffing out of him.
