e-mail problems from brahms/hirg

Sometime last week ITD (late Thursday/Friday) starteed enforcing
a firewall policy apparently preventing sendmail to work properly from sgs1.hirg.bnl.gov to
addresses outside BNL.Sgs1 is the mailserver for most people in the group. I must have send about 10 messages to outside BNL 
from my own account (i,e. not the listservers which are send from bnl.gov not sgs1).
We i.e. Betty did not make it back to BNL until today is now looking into this, and hopefully this gets resolved soon.
