    Hi Ian
The particular run had D2 turned off for about 1 hr, as CA technicians were
investigating and trying to fix (unsuccesfully) a strong fluctuation in the
D2 current readout. They claim however that the magnet current itself out of the supply is ' stable as a rock'.
Now, what is read and written to tape is unclear to me. Is it the (instataneous) value of what appears on the magnet screen (at some given point in time) or ?
This suggests that the values written may not be reliable, if current readings are not stable.
Note also that the T3 anode 2 was off , not anode 3.
CA has promised to follow up on the D2 issue on monday.
    cheers JJ
