The closeup of the IR is nearing, and for your information I enclosed a pdf file from a local presentation here today outlining
status of various detector component and on-going high priority work. It is by necessity brief. Apart from hardware work with
detectors there has to be review and updates of the various software used for monitoring the detectors. After all we know
 must better now how to monitor collisions and has to focus more on quality of data. This status is also a reminder that such
software has to be written/modified, debuuger, documented for the 'shifters' etc.
